Affiliate Recruitment URL
You can include your Affiliate Recruitment URL on your website if you'd like to give your customers the opportunity to learn about your affiliate program and apply to become an Affiliate.
You can find this URL in the top right corner of the Account Details page in your Merchant account. This URL will lead to an external page that includes your Program Bio and a sign up field. Prospective Affiliates can use this link to join the network, and once they've been approved to the network they'll be prompted to apply directly to your program. You can also send this link directly to a prospect that you’d like to partner with, and they can use it to apply to your program, as well.
If you’re utilizing multiple recruitment channels for your program, you can utilize your Affiliate Recruitment URL to identify where Affiliates are finding your program. It will be helpful to create multiple Affiliate Recruitment URL's with unique Signup Sources for each URL so you can track which of your efforts Affiliates are coming through.
If you click 'Edit' next to your default Affiliate Recruitment URL you can set up additional URL's with unique Signup Sources. You can create additional Affiliate Recruitment URL's, each with a unique Signup Source, and post them in your various marketing channels. You can then go to your Affiliate List and click 'Advanced Filters and Sorting' on the left side of the page to sort by 'Affiliate Source' where you can view the Affiliates that have joined your program through each Signup Source.
When you're setting up additional Affiliate Recruitment URL's, the main portion of the URL will always start with ‘http://www.shareasale.com/join/' and then you'll specify what comes after ‘join/' and the Signup Source. The information that you enter for each must be a max of 50 characters, using only letters and numbers. So, for example, if you wanted to create three Affiliate Recruitment URL’s to track signups from your Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages, you could set them up as follows:
http://www.shareasale.com/join/facebook
Signup Source: Facebookhttp://www.shareasale.com/join/instagram
Signup Source: Instagramhttp://www.shareasale.com/join/twitter
Signup Source: Twitter
You'd then place each of these URL's on your respective websites/social media channels where you’re recruiting prospective Affiliates.
