How to Set Up a Coupon/Deal
If you’re currently promoting any coupon codes or deals on your website that you’d like your Affiliates to be aware of it’s always a great idea to include these coupons/deals in your Creative Inventory. Adding or re-launching a coupon/deal once a month is a great way to recruit and activate Affiliates. All coupons/deals are sent via RSS Feed to ShareASale Affiliates so it's a great way to gain some additional exposure for your program.

You can add a coupon/deal for your program by following these steps:
Go to the Coupon Database in your Merchant account
Click ‘Add Coupon’ to pull up the Coupon/Deal Editor
In the Information box you’ll add all of the applicable information associated with the coupon/deal
Once you’ve added all of the appropriate information associated with the coupon/deal you’ll click ‘Add Coupon’ to add it to your Creative Inventory

Once the coupon/deal has been added to your Creative Inventory your Affiliates will have the ability to generate their unique tracking links associated with the coupon/deal from within their accounts.

Please note that you’ll need to set up and activate the coupon code/deal on the back-end of your website prior to adding it to your Creative Inventory. Coupon codes/deals are not automatically applied during checkout if an Affiliate’s tracking link is clicked. The customer will still need to manually enter the appropriate coupon code during checkout in order for it to be applied. The purpose of adding a coupon/deal to your Creative Inventory is simply to notify your Affiliates that it’s live on your website and eligible to promote.
